“The Coin” – our city – the idea

In the year 2015 we used our 30-years´experience in producing hot glass objects at the melting oven and developed in corporation with the well-known designer Uwe Fahmüller from Wertheim our glass coin. The stamped glass coin is made of 1200°C (ca. 2000°F) hot crystal glass and shows the landmark of our hometown Wertheim, the Castle of Wertheim.



Our glass coin is made out of extremely hot glass in a large-scale casting and pressing process. Each “Coin” is stamped by hand in our own glass blowing studio.



This coin in its noble packaging with coinage is the favourite souvenir of the town/Wertheim!
